The Launch Guide is the admin checklist for preparing a store to accept customers.
Open The Launch Guide
1. Open WordPress admin. 2. Open AweCommerce. 3. Select Launch Guide.
Review Setup Status
Look for:
- Missing store pages.
- Pages that need repair.
- Missing gateway credentials.
- Missing email settings.
- Missing currency settings.
- Store Health warnings.
- Licensing readiness warnings if selling software.
Create Missing Pages
1. Find the pages section. 2. Use the action to create missing pages. 3. Confirm each page becomes ready. 4. Open each page in a new tab to confirm it loads.
Repair Page Content
Use repair when a page exists but does not contain the expected AweCommerce customer-facing content.
1. Select Repair for the affected page. 2. Wait for confirmation. 3. Open the page. 4. Confirm it shows the correct shopping, checkout, account, or recovery experience.
Review Gateway Setup
1. Confirm at least one gateway is enabled. 2. Confirm the gateway is in test mode during setup. 3. Confirm required test credentials are saved. 4. Confirm the gateway test passes.
Review Subscription Readiness
If selling subscriptions:
1. Use Stripe or PayPal. 2. Confirm webhooks are configured. 3. Confirm the subscription test checklist passes. 4. Confirm a test subscription can be created. 5. Confirm cancellation and payment method update are available where expected.
Review Licensing Readiness
If selling software:
1. Confirm the product is configured as software. 2. Confirm a license policy is set. 3. Confirm release package is uploaded. 4. Confirm manifest is published. 5. Confirm test license activation works. 6. Confirm update delivery works.
Complete The Launch Guide
Complete the Launch Guide only when:
- Required store pages are ready.
- Gateway settings are valid.
- Checkout has been tested.
- Emails have been tested.
- Taxes and coupons are configured if used.
- Reports show the test order.
- Store Health has no critical issues.
