View Orders
1. Open AweCommerce, then Orders. 2. Search or filter orders. 3. Open an order. 4. Review customer details. 5. Review items. 6. Review payment status. 7. Review totals. 8. Review gateway details. 9. Review related invoice. 10. Review linked split orders if present.
Order Statuses
Order statuses shown to admins include:
- Pending.
- Processing.
- Paid.
- Failed.
- Cancelled.
- Refunded.
- Partially refunded.
Change Order Status
Use manual status changes carefully.
1. Open the order. 2. Review payment history. 3. Choose the new status only when it matches the real payment state. 4. Save. 5. Confirm access, emails, and reports still make sense.
Do not mark unpaid orders as paid unless payment was confirmed outside the system.
Refund An Order
1. Open the paid order. 2. Confirm the refundable amount. 3. Choose full or partial refund. 4. Enter refund reason. 5. Submit refund. 6. Confirm the gateway accepts the refund. 7. Confirm order status updates. 8. Confirm the customer receives a refund email if enabled. 9. Confirm access is adjusted if the refund should remove access.
Partial Refund
Use partial refunds for:
- Courtesy credits.
- Partial service issues.
- One item in a multi-item order.
- Price adjustment.
Confirm entitlements before partial refunds. A partial refund may not always mean access should be removed.
Full Refund
Use full refunds when the customer should no longer have the purchased access or license.
After full refund:
- Confirm access is revoked where policy requires it.
- Confirm license status changes where appropriate.
- Confirm subscription state if the order belongs to a subscription.
Invoices
Invoices can be issued for orders and subscriptions.
Admins can:
- View invoice details.
- Download invoice.
- Review seller profile details.
- Review customer billing details.
- Review tax and discount lines.
Invoice Checklist
Before sending invoices:
- Seller profile is complete.
- Tax details are correct.
- Customer billing address is correct.
- Currency is correct.
- Discounts are correct.
- Invoice email template is ready.
