AweCommerce uses WordPress pages for public shopping and customer account experiences.
Store Pages
The standard pages are:
- Shop.
- Cart.
- Checkout.
- Account.
- Order Confirmation.
- Payment Failed.
- Payment Recovery.
What Each Page Does
Shop lets buyers browse products.
Cart lets buyers review selected items.
Checkout collects customer details, agreements, and payment.
Account lets customers manage orders, subscriptions, downloads, licenses, invoices, profile details, addresses, and payment methods.
Order Confirmation shows a successful purchase result.
Payment Failed gives buyers a place to recover from a failed checkout.
Payment Recovery lets subscription customers update a payment method from a secure recovery link.
Create Pages From The Launch Guide
1. Open AweCommerce, then Launch Guide. 2. Find the Store Pages section. 3. Select Create for any missing page. 4. Select Repair for any page marked as needing repair. 5. Open each page from the checklist. 6. Confirm the page displays the correct customer experience.
Create Or Assign Pages From Settings
1. Open AweCommerce, then Settings. 2. Open Pages and Navigation. 3. Review each page assignment. 4. Select existing WordPress pages or create new ones. 5. Save settings. 6. Reopen the storefront and test navigation.
Add Pages To Navigation
Recommended public navigation:
- Shop.
- Cart.
- Account.
Usually keep system pages out of navigation:
- Checkout.
- Order Confirmation.
- Payment Failed.
- Payment Recovery.
Buyers should reach system pages through checkout or email flows, not the normal menu.
How To Test Navigation
1. Log out or use a private browser window. 2. Open the store home page. 3. Open Shop. 4. Add a product to cart. 5. Open Cart. 6. Continue to Checkout. 7. Stop before payment if only testing navigation. 8. Log in as a customer. 9. Open Account. 10. Confirm the portal loads.
Common Problems
If a page is blank, repair it from the Launch Guide.
If a page shows the wrong content, repair it or reassign the correct page in Settings.
If Account does not show customer data, confirm the visitor is logged in and linked to a customer record.
If Payment Recovery does not work, confirm the Payment Recovery page exists and that dunning emails link to it.
